In the US, PV CYCLE offers both collective as well as tailor-made waste management solutions for solar energy equipment, batteries and e-waste.

To help US companies meet their lifecycle requirements towards customers, tenders, scorecards, authorities and investors, PV CYCLE created PV CYCLE USA, Inc.

PV CYCLE USA is a non-profit, non-stock corporation that serves social benefits goals. The primary purpose of PV CYCLE is to promote sustainable lifecycle management in the PV industry, educate companies and communities about the benefits of sustainable waste management, and provide safe and sustainable options for discarded solar energy system products.

COLLECTIVE MEMBERSHIP

For companies with annual waste management needs we offer a collective membership for nation-wide take-back and recycling for:

  • PV module consumer & production waste
  • Electrical & Electronic waste (e.g. inverters)
  • Battery waste

Members can opt for a seat on our Advisory Board and contribute to shaping PV CYCLE and PV lifecycle management in the US.

ASSOCIATED MEMBERSHIP

Designed for private persons, universities, associations and others who support our lifecycle approach but have no annual waste management needs.

  • Access to PV CYCLE communications support
  • Access to our expertise in PV module recycling

GOOD TO KNOW

While the US branch champions the principles of Extended Producer Responsibility and sustainable lifecycle management, the execution of all administrative and operative tasks is subcontracted to PV CYCLE Association aisbl, the world’s first collective take-back and recycling scheme for PV modules.

PV CYCLE USA is open to any kind of natural or legal person interested in PV lifecycle management and, hence, in accelerating the transition to a truly green energy generation from the sun.

As part of the world’s first PV waste management scheme, PV CYCLE USA brings a long track record in PV take-back and treatment as well as many years of hands-on experience to its members.
