A record result for recycling in Belgium
PV CYCLE Belgium reached an important milestone in 2024, with 1,491 tons of photovoltaic panels recycled, compared with 658 tons in 2023. This represents more than a doubling in just one year, a result we're very proud of.
The collection of photovoltaic panels is still relatively recent, as it's only in recent years that the first panels have begun to be replaced. So it's still too early to predict whether 2025 will follow the same trend. However, the results of the last two years are exceptional, and testify to our ability to adapt and the effectiveness of our expansion strategy.
Since last year, PV CYCLE Belgium has been working with two recycling partners: a long-standing partner in the north of the country (BNE Trading & Recycling) and, in the south, a joint entity formed by Comet and Recma. This extension of our network has clearly contributed to our results.
